Choice of venues:
I used to visit bars in Soho to meet friends, it was central so easy to go to and plenty of venues to choose from - even if I didn't love the crowd or scene there.
I really felt I wanted to be in the East End local scene as I didn't really like the overly polished, touristy Soho vibe. Once I moved to East London, I used to go out much more often in the local bars there - particularly Vogue Fabrics and Dalston Superstore. Despite living very near the George & Dragon and Joiners Arms, I didn't go to these venues as frequently as I might have liked to or thought I would. It was really driven by my friends and where we would meet that was convenient for all of us to go to.

Choice of outfits:
East was usually a bit more quirky or daring - feathers, sequins, high heels, short shorts, low cut tops, tassles. Soho would usually be more 'smart', designer, black, not gender bending. Vauxhall was similar but more casual, and was often knowing you would end up topless on the dancefloor.
